Posted by admin in : Salmon World News , trackbackAll the fish for the Salmon World Aquarium, pools and fish ponds are caught locally from the Rakaia River and carefully transported to Salmon World. The caught fish range from small juveniles through to mature adults and will form the basis for the breeding and educational program. There will be a variety of local fish, from salmon to brown trout and new species will be introduced as appropriate.
